Deborah Harper Deborah is a documentary filmmaker/producer/editor with a strong focus on topics related to social change. She has a B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and received her B.A. in Film/Video from Columbia College Chicago in December 2011.
Her goal is to use positivity in media to address social justice issues.
Jacob Klippenstein Jacob is a life long protester and a full-time organizer. He received a B.A. in Documentary Film from Columbia College Chicago in 2011 and the world was his classroom ever since. Over the past several years he actively documented and produced work to promote social justice issues in Chicago, such as the Housing Justice movement, the Prison Abolition Movement and the fight for Education Justice, among others. He's an avid supporter of using media in social justice work and thus volunteered at the Allied Media Conference for the past 3 years including as a coordinator in 2013 & 2014. Currently, he works on the Trans Oral History Project, AREA Chicago and freelances for the Real News Network. His goal is to work within the current system to reduce harm while building radical alternatives outside of it.
Timothy Brock Tim is from the beautiful garden state and a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago. He was a student of Columbia’s film & video program with a focus on editing and documentary; Even so, Tim developed a fascination with motion graphics.
